Passionate for sweets, Taiwanese designer Boggy Chan manages to transfuse the inspiration from desserts into modern industrial design to baking the dessert furniture. Enlarging biscuits and cupcakes in scale, she produced a furniture series “Sweeties” with perfectly lifelike and human-centred pieces. The cream inside the biscuit table is made from Polyuethane, which allows a natural draping shape, whereas the cupcake stools have a tender surface with adjustable heights to suit the users.
Artist/ designer Kevin Champeny designed this crazy chandelier made of 3,000 hand-cast acrylic gummy bears called the Candelier for home furnishings company Jellio. If 3,000 is not enough for you, the light comes in a bigger size that uses 5,000 bears. Good news for gummy bears fanatic, these yummy pieces are available to purchase at Jellio.
